Preheat oven to 325? F. Beat the brown sugar and butter together; spread the mixture in the bottom of a deep baking dish or casserole. Spread the apples on top of the sugar mixture. Combine the remaining ingredients, except the whipped cream, in a blender or food processor; process until smooth. Pour the batter over the apples. Place the pan on a cookie sheet in case the pudding runs over. Bake in a 325? F oven for 60 minutes. Serve hot with cream, whipped if desired. Makes 10 servings. dess 46
