Combine glaze ingredients in measuring cup. Set aside

Saute carrots in oil.

Add the liquid to the carrots, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to simmer, uncovered, until the liquid is reduced to a syrupy glaze and the carrots are tender, about 10 minutes. Serve sprinkled with sesame seeds
