Ingredients (scaled)
1 servings
Directions
In a 1-1/2 quart microwave-safe casserole combine pears, cranberry sauce, and 1/4 cup sugar. Micro-cook, covered, on 100% power (high) for 8 to 10 minutes or till mixture is bubbly and pears are slightly tender, stirring once. Meanwhile, with scissor, snip edges of biscuits to within 1/2 inch of center to form flower petals. Place biscuits atop hot filling. Brush with melted margarine or butter. In a small bowl combine the 1 tablespoon sugar and nutmeg; sprinkle over biscuits. Bake, uncovered, in a 400 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes or till biscuits are golden. Serve warm. To serve, spoon fruit and biscuits into serving bowls. If desired, serve with half-and-half or light cream. Garnish with fresh mint. Makes 6 servings.
