Dessert cream: Beat 1/2 cup whipping cream with 2 table- spoons sugar, 3/4 teaspoon grated fresh gingerroot, and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla. Serve over fresh fruit. Ginger butter: Beat 1 to 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger- root into 1/2 cup softened margarine or butter. Hot tea: Add a slice of fresh gingerroot to tea with boiling water for steeping. Remove the ginger before serving. Waffles or pancakes: For 4 waffles or 12 pancakes, stir 1 teaspoon grated fresh gingerroot into the batter. veg 18
