Preheat oven to 400°F. Butter 12-cup muffin tin. Stir cereal into milk in large bowl and let stand 2 minutes. Beat in oil and egg. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in another bowl. Stir into cereal mixture. Add banana and raisins and mix just to combine. Spoon batter into prepared tin. Lightly drizzle tops with maple syrup. Bake until lightly browned, about 30 minutes.
