Grapefruit Sherbet

Ingredients (scaled)

Directions

Soften gelatin in cold water. Boil sugar and hot water 2 minutes. Add gelatin and stir to dissolve. Cool. Add grapefruit juice. Freeze to a mush. Turn into chilled bowl and beat quickly until smooth. Fold in egg whites, return to tray and finish freezing. Stir several times.
