Hakka Noodles With Shrimps (Indo-Chinese Noodles)

Directions

Devein and deshell the shrimps. Wash them properly and then apply chilly, turmeric powder and salt. Marinate and keep them aside for 30 Mins.

Boil 5-6 cups of water. Add hakka noddles to the water when bubbles start forming in the water.

Add 1 tsp oil to the noodles boiling in the water. Add 1/4 tsp salt to it. Let them boil for 3 Mins or as per the instructions given on the packet. Boil the noodles Al-dente. Drain the water and spread it over a flat plate. Toss gently with a fork.

In a pan or kadai, add oil and let it heat for 1 Minute. Add onion and fry till the onions turn pinkish.

Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 1 minute.

Add tomatoes and saute till the tomatoes turn mushy.

For the eggs, either scramble and add. Or, mix and set in skillet, remove and cut into strips.

Now add the marinated shrimps and let it simmer for 10 Mins.

Add the sauces and black pepper powder and saute for 1 Min.

Add the boiled noodles and mix everything well.

Add salt to taste and mix.
