Soften the butter and beat with a mixer until smooth and fluffy. Add herbs and seasonings. Shape as desired and freeze) This is pretty in a block, garnished with some sprigs of parsley or rose geranium leaves, or rolled into balls and then scored with a fork. Can be rolled out flat between two sheets of wax paper, chilled, cut with shaped cookie cutters and garnished with sprigs of herbs, rolled into logs and rolled in finely grated cheese or in parsley flakes. Old fashioned butter molds can be used as well. Use your imagination.
