Directions

Preheat broiler. Mix together teriyaki sauce, sugar, vinegar, cumin and cayenne in large bowl. Add pork cubes; stir to coat. Let stand 5 minutes at room temperature. Skewer 2 pork cubes onto each of 40 metal skewers. Reserve marinade. Set aside. Dissolve cornstarch in milk in small bowl. Set aside. To prepare sauce, bring 1/4 cup of the reserved marinade to boiling in small saucepan. Cook 1 minute. Add cornstarch mixture and peanut butter. Bring to boiling, stirring with whisk. Lower heat; simmer,3 minutes. Set aside. Broil pork 4 to 5 inches from source of heat for about 2 minutes on each side. Dip in peanut sauce; arrange on serving platter. Serve with additional peanut sauce. Makes 40 skewers. MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS FOR SAUCE FOR SATAY: 650 Watt variable Power Microwave Oven Directions: Combine 1/4 cup reserved marinade, milk and cornstarch in 4-cup measure; whisk until smooth. Stir in peanut butter until smooth. Microwave, uncovered, at full power for 3 minutes until mixture comes to a full boil, stirring well after 1-1/2 minutes. Remove from microwave. Stir again.
