Mary's Candied Sweet Potatoes

Directions

Roast potatoes just until they can be pierced with a fork but are still very firm. DO NOT OVER COOK. Cool until able to handle.

Slice in 1/3 slices. Arrange in a single layer, overlapping slightly, in a buttered shallow heatproof dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar, then pecans. Drizzle butter all over

Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until bubbly. Serves 6.
