Shake first 4 ingredients in a container. Either pour over ice and serve traditionally. Or, for a slushy margarita, blend in blender with ice.
If salted rim is desired, rub a cut lime around the rim of a glass to wet it a bit then dip the glass in salt. You might also salt just half the glass.
