Oriental Plum Sauce

Directions

Combine plums, water, honey, ginger-root, red pepper flakes and garlic in medium saucepan. Bring to boiling. Lower heat; cover and simmer 5 to 10 minutes until plums are soft. Remove from heat. Stir in soy sauce. Cool slightly. Pour mixture into blender or food processor, process until smooth. If not using immediately, refrigerate in tightly covered container for up to 1 week. Nutrient value per 1/4 cup: 49 calories - 1 g protein - 0 g fat 12 g carbohydrate 256 mg sodium - 0 mg cholesterol
