Roasted Garlic and Italian Bread

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Peel off outer papery skin from garlic heads but do not separate or peel individual cloves. Place garlic heads in small baking dish. Drizzle oil over. Top with chopped thyme, pepper and salt. Add stock. Cover and bake until garlic is tender, basting occasionally with stock, about 1 hour Uncover and bake until garlic is very tender, about 15 minutes more. Place garlic on platter. Pour cooking liquid over. Garnish with thyme. Serve garlic with bread slices. APPET 74
