Directions
Place lamb cubes in large saucepan. Add water. Bring to boiling. Lower heat and simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Skim off any foam. Add carrot, onion, turnip, celery, barley, instant beef seasoning, pepper, bay leaf and whiskey. Simmer covered, stirring 2 hours until lamb is tender. Stir in parsley. Cook 10 minutes longer.
