Divide butter equally between 2 ovenproof frying pans, each 8 to 10 inches. Set pans in a 425° oven until butter melts, 3 to 4 minutes; tilt to coat pan. Meanwhile, in a blender or food processor whirl flour, milk, eggs, and sugar until smoothly mixed. Pour batter equally into hot pans; bake until deep golden brown, 18 to 20 minutes. Serve from pans, or loosen with a spatula and slide onto plates. Accompany with sliced strawberries, strawberry sauce, powdered sugar, and lemon wedges. Makes 2 generous or 4 regular servings.
