Directions
Combine milk and butter in medium saucepan and place over low heat until butter is melted. Meanwhile, in separate bowls beat yolks until slightly thickened and beat whites until frothy. Fold whites into yolks and stir in sugar and vanilla. Remove milk from heat and slowly add egg mixture, whisking constantly. Return pan to heat and add brandy and rum. Continue whisking until mixture is thoroughly blended and warmed, then pour into preheated mugs or large, stemmed glasses and sprinkle top generously with nutmeg. drinks 2
