Warm Apple-lemon Sauce

Directions

Combine sugar and cornstarch in small saucepan. Whisk in apple juice. Bring to boil, whisking until mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat and add lemon juice, lemon peel and lemon slices. (Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Cover and refrigerate. Reheat before serving) Serve warm over gingerbread. Makes about 1-2/3 cups Per 2 tablespoons: Calories 30, fat 0g, sodium 2 mg, chol 0 mg. PC 120
